John Twigg (third from right) joined activists from the Campbellton Neighbourhood Association and civic officials at Sealand Aviation at Campbell River Airport on Feb. 20 to mark Sealand’s commitment to help erect a float plane on the Island Highway in Campbellton where it will serve as an entrance feature and tourist attraction. A reconstructed plane will be placed on a pedestal in a vacant small parcel of land on 14th Avenue between the north and southbound lanes of the highway. Twigg is presently vice-chair of the CNA.

Twigg helped construct the Campbellton Community Garden in June 2015.

John Twigg interviewed NDP leader John Horgan on his Talk About TV Show on Shaw TV North Island in 2016.

The above photo was taken early in the election campaign on the Pat Bay Highway near Victoria on the way to the ferry terminal. It illustrates two ways in which the B.C. Liberal Party routinely cheats: 1, candidate campaign signs are not supposed to be placed on provincial highway roadsides, and two: the proximity to a highway project completion sign unfairly draws a link between taxpayer funds and partisan politics. Of course the similarity in the colours is just a coincidence . . . .
